Our Venue

Our friends at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4100 Lyndale South, Minneapolis are allowing us to host the benefit at their facility. There is plenty of parking and plenty of room. Anyone familiar with Minneapolis knows where 4100 Lyndale South would be, for the rest, here's a link to their website

About Mike and Judith Foreman

In 1971, Mike and Judith came to Minneapolis to join Center Opera which later become Minnesota Opera. Mike was hired as resident bass-baritone, and Judith was hired as costumer for the men in the company. They came from Milwaukee where Mike had been head of the voice department at University of WI Madison.

Mike holds a Doctorate of Performing Arts, and has taught at Colorado University at Boulder, The University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, and the U of M. Judith has been a costumer, draper, and pattern maker for Minnesota Opera and Vee Corporation -Sesame Street Live.

Mike's Condition

As of 12/28-12/30/07:

Mike has made an amazing amount of progress. His speech is much more clear, and he is better able to organize and express his thoughts. He is beginning to sense movement impulses in his right hand and foot, and his therapists are very happy with his progress. On, Sunday 12/30, I actually observed movement in both Mike's right hand & foot!!!
